Spencer County Indiana - Where we are

Spencer County is located on the banks of the Ohio River in Southwest Indiana near the median center of US population. With I-64 crossing the northern sector of the county, ready access to future I-69, a new multi-commodity riverport on the Ohio, the new William Natcher Bridge over the Ohio and the Abraham Lincoln Parkway (formerly 231), Spencer County is positioned to become the logistical hub of the Midwest.

Spencer County is logistically perfect for your business

While many locations might talk about their "central" location, only a few can honestly claim to be in the "Center of the Country" as defined by the US Census Bureau.

The median center, as shown below, is defined as a point where 50% of the population is north of the point and south of the point, and 50% of the population is east of the point and west of the point. According to the 2000 US census, that point is located in Southwest Indiana.
