Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial preserves the site of Abraham Lincoln's Boyhood home and features a living historical farm and a museum with artifacts from Lincoln's 14 years in Spencer County (1816-1830). additional Lincoln Boyhood site here Lincoln State Park is a 1,747-acre recreational area adjoining the Lincoln Memorial, with camping, cabins, and many outdoor activities. It's home to Lincoln Amphitheater, a covered 1,500 seat facility that features musical dramas in the summer.
St. Meinrad Archabbey & Seminary exhibit some of Southern Indiana's most beautiful and interesting architecture. The archabbey church dates from the nineteenth century. Lincoln Pioneer Museum and Village is a re-creation of a pioneer settlement. Examples of cabins from Spencer County's early days and Southern Indiana artifacts are on display.
